Ever since Felicia,Tracy,Huiyi & I went to Marina Barrage for Kite flying,I have always wanted to bring Baby there(:

Today finally went there with Baby!

It was quite a last minute decision so we didnt pack any food there.

Nice scenery,nice wind,nice people,nice company

We thought it was going to rain but the weather was really nice there.

The wind was super strong,that explains why my hair keep flying all over my face in the photos (:

We were looking at all the small kites flying in the air.

It was really relaxing.

It reminds of the first time Baby celebrated my bday at East Coast Park about 3 years ago when we just started.

Even though we were together for only 8 days at that time,he hugged me & we gazed upon the stars at night.

It was my most memorable day.(:

We were looking at the kites flying freely until we saw this professionaly kite flyer,trying to fly this GIGANTIC KING COBRA.

IT'S THE LARGEST KITE I HAVE EVER SINCE & THE LONGEST TOO!!!!!!

Not sure if you are able to see in the below photo that he try to stack the tail of the cobra in a neat stack.

All eyes on him as he try to fly the GIGANTIC KING COBRA.

He tried a couple of times before he finally succeeded!(:

KUDOS to HIM!!!!

Went Dhoby for my favourite TOM YAM BAN MIAN!!!

When I was walking towards bus stop with Baby,an aunty approached me.
I didnt know she was talking to me until Baby told me.

We waited for the bus & noticed her asking people for money.

One kind soul gave her.

Then she went back to the same spot.

Asking more people for money.

She even asked one guy to put down his handphone as he was talking on the phone.

After 15 minutes,she was still there.

At first,was PITY,then I felt angry.

She is using the fact that she is old to cheat people of money.

She is smart.

Here is her tactics:

" Boy/Girl,is this .....(for example China Town)?"

Obviously,the place is not China Town.

A kind soul will say

"Aunty,here is not China town,you must take bus XXX then alight at the mrt there."

Aunty replied:" Boy/Girl,Aunty no money go China town,can give aunty some money?"

Kind soul gave money.

& she got the money,pretend to hail taxi,went back same spot & look for vulnerable victims.

She is still able to walk & work but chose to earn money through despicable act.

I was approached by another one last week when I was with my mum at Ang Mo Kio Hub.

She asked for $2 from everyone who passed by.

$2 x 10 =$20

This shows how $2 can slowly add up to a big amount.

just imagine that whole day,she just have to target 10 people.

$20 a day,$600 a month.

Why are there increasingly more & more of such people?

I wonder.

Just some food for thought today.

Anyway,aside that. I CANT WAIT TO GO TO RIVER ANG BAO!!!!!!!

It's been something I have always looked forward since young.

Ever since all of us grew up,my parents no longer bring us there.

This year Baby & I going!!!

Yay!I am so excited!!!

Later will be Huiyi's Samba performance.WOOTS!!!
